Victoria Beckham will be opening the doors to her first ever London store in two days. Yipee! And in the run-up to the big reveal, we thought we’d share with you what what we know so far.
The 7,000 sq ft Mayfair shop has been created by architect Farshid Moussavi, and will stock her main collection as well as her spin-off range, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, plus accessories.
‘Moussavi is a woman who loves fashion as well. She has quite a conceptual eye, which I like’, VB said of her choice of store designer.
‘We want to make something different without making it overly complicated. I just want it to feel real for me.’
And from the sneak peeks we’ve seen on Twitter, the interior will have an industrial-type feel, with concrete floors, walnut accents and an open plan gallery-style layout. Love.
Standing on 36 Dover Street, the store will mark VB’s first ever bricks-and-mortar outlet – and she’s even hinted that she may take to the tills herself to really get into the retail swing! Can you imagine?!
The store’s opening hours will be 11 – 7pm Monday – Saturday, and 12 – 5pm on Sunday, and we suggest you get down there early on September 25th if you want to be first in. Total pandemoneum will be guaranteed.
