Victoria Beckham has lifted the lid on who inspires her when it comes to her work wardrobe, and we’re all ears to hear who the designer’s mystery style icon is.
The Spice Girl turned full-time fashion designer has had the kind of career most fashion-devotees can only dream of, which is why she took some time out to speak to Mashable about her spectacular style CV and offer up some valuable advice.
‘I recently worked with [Facebook COO] Sheryl Sandberg on the #Banbossy campaign and she is a great ambassador of style for the modern working woman’, the 40-year-old mum-of-four gushed about her office ‘drobe-spiration.
Sheryl’s one stylish lady, that’s for sure. And with her love of a chic colour block frock and classic panelling we can totally see her rocking a VB frock to work.
And as for Victoria’s advice on making it big in the glamorous world of fashion? ‘I often say the best advice is to get as much experience as you can in the field you want to enter.’
‘And of course, be passionate and be willing to work hard’, she continued. ‘I have followed that in my own career and you see that in the Skype Collaboration Project. I hope it encourages women to work hard and follow their dreams.’
She’s a wise one, that VB.
