Victoria Beckham has been using New York Fashion Week to show a new, more colourful style streak. And we’re totally loving her sartorial switch up.
The former Spice Girl went all ’90s on us for her shopping spree to Bergdorf Goodman and stepped out in a perfectly pretty pink floral summer dress with spaghetti straps and a frilly hem.
VB teamed her bold feminine frock with a pair of chunky platform-heeled sandals featuring hot pink trim from her very first shoe line, unveiled earlier this week.
‘AMAZING @JeffKoonsStudio retrospective at the @whitneymuseum in NY x vb’, the designer later posted alongside a snap of her outfit during a trip to a museum.
We adore this look on Victoria. While we love her chic and striking work wardrobe of black, black, black, it’s lovely to see the multi-tasking mum get girly with big blooms and Spice Girl-style heels.
And we witnessed this change of fashion direction in her SS15 show, too. Featuring her first ever florals, Mrs Beckham’s runway was awash with pretty pink bouquets, fresh bursts of citrus yellow and easy, loose silhouettes.
Vogue editor Anna Wintour applauded the fashion-forward collection from the FROW, while hubby David and son Brooklyn looked proudly on, with David kissing the back of his wife’s head after the show to congratulate her.
But it’s all over now, as the high fashion powerhouse shared a photo of herself slumped over a cardboard box earlier today, writing; ‘Time to leave NY x vb #NYFW #VBSS15.’ *Sigh*.
