The former Spice Girl was seen the day after her AW15 show on a family outing with David and the kids. And we’re coveting VB’s new day wardrobe more as each day goes on.
We are talking about the woman who made knits and maxi skirts the dream combo, so it’s no wonder the 40-year-old designer has nailed cosy separates once again.
Victoria worked a biscuity orange jumper with a pair of super stylish wide culottes and a chunky navy scarf, which she kept wrapped snuggly around her neck. Yep, because New York is freezing right now.
Allowing a flash of ankle thanks to the cut of her culottes, VB then finished off with a pair of black shiny lace-up heel boots, with the hugest platform known to mankind.
These surprised us in more than one way. Firstly, we didn’t expect to see the mum-of-four bringing back the noughties punk-inspired goth boots we were all so fond of as teens (but of course, they work on her).
And secondly, how exactly is she managing to stay upright?!
Props off to VB for making this ensemble look effortlessly stylish, and for proving more and more of us really should be daring to rock the culotte.
It’s nice to know even the world’s top fashionistas still suffer from the odd wardrobe malfunction or two, though. Earlier in the day, VB shared a Twitter snap of her getting stuck in her cosy polo neck jumper with the caption:
‘I’m stuck!! Wrap up its cold out there!!! I ❤️️NY x ❄️.’
