We’ve all been there – when something just isn’t right with your outfit and you really need a second opinion. However, unless you have a friend in close proximity (‘cause, let’s face it, boyfriends are USELESS at this sort of thing), who on earth can you turn to for help in this drastic time of need? The South Carolina police, appaz.
In today’s cutest news, it’s been reported that a two-year-old tot named Aaliyah did just that when she found herself in a sartorial predicament. Instead of shouting for her mum (who was in the house at the time of the incident) the adorable youngster went straight to the authorities, dialling 911 to help her out of the fashion conundrum.
Deputy Martha Lohnes of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office was the officer who answered the call, and the person who later decided to share the story on Facebook. She explained:
‘This little two-year-old girl dialled 911 without her parents knowing. I show up and she comes to the door with her pants half on, saying she can’t get them on. So I sit down on the stairs and help her put pants on. And then she proceeds to ask me to pick her up and hug her… And that would be the best part of my shift today’.
We told you, the cuteness-richter is off the charts!
‘I thought it was awesome that at two years old, she knew to call 911 at all’, Martha added.
Aaliyah’s mother later explained that she and her partner had pointed the numbers on the keypad of their house phone in case of real life SOS situations, but was completely gobsmacked that her daughter managed to do it.
If this isn’t proof that we need actual Fashion Police pounding the streets, we don’t know what is…
