Topshop has your fashion fix covered with it's new drop this week

Topshop: The New Hero Buys You’ll Love This Week

Our love for Topshop is well known. The high street mecca is always spot on when it comes to nailing the trends we’re obsessed with, not to mention the wardrobe essentials we can’t get enough of. Unsurprisingly, it’s new drop is chock-a-block full of pieces currently taking pride of place at the top of our mounting wish lists.

Get-it-before-it goes pieces are quite the Toppers speciality and its brand new palm print dress firmly falls into that category. Quickly becoming the go-to print for summer, the dress will, of course, look great on holiday, thrown over a bikini for poolside lounging, but it also works for urban life, too, styled under a denim jacket with a pair of espadrilles.

The lust for statement palm prints isn’t new. We’ve spotted everyone from Rihanna and Cara Delevigne to Alexa Chung and Selena Gomez rocking theirs. Designers have been incorporating them into their collections for yonks too so you can be rest assured that you’ll be pulling this dress out summer after summer.

Sleeveless jacket, £40

Denim jacket, £39

It’s not all statement frocks though – you can always count on Toppers for a love-forever classic and that’s why we’ve fallen hard for its sleeveless jacket. It’s a styling dream and will look amazing styled up our down. Use it to create a tailored, polished look for the office or team it with a pair of boyfriend jeans and trainers off-duty on the weekend. You can file its new stripy jumpsuit and classic denim jacket in the wardrobe staples camp too.

Backpack, £90

Sandals, £39

The great thing is that the goodness doesn’t end there. As always, the shoes and bags are bang on the money too. Backpacks are a mainstay in our collection and we couldn’t think of a better excuse to cheat on our trusty totes than snapping up this brand new leather option. We love that it’s big enough to carry everything we need without feeling bulky and considering how much we plan on carrying it, it will justify it’s £90 price tag in no time.

Shoes wise, you’ll have to move fast if you want to get your hands on the metallic cut out sandals that just dropped online and in store. They’re the jazzy sandals you’ve been frantically searching for – thanks to colour, they have the power to instantly spruce up the most basic outfit.
