You might be aware that the British Fashion Awards took place last night. Obviously, it’s all we can talk about. And we’ve decided that our highlight of the entire night was the ridiculously celeb-packed, super starry after party, held in honour of legendary stylist (and winner of the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator), Edward Enninful.
We’re not kidding when we say that everyone was there. Some had a quick change of frock, some took the opportunity to catch up with their celeb BFF (we’re looking at you, Kate and Naomi), while some just decided to Instagram as much as they could (ahem, Rihanna). So, without further ado, here are our fave moments from one of the best celeb parties we’ve possibly ever seen…
Alexa‘s quick change took her from a silver Emilia Wickstead, full-skirted dress, into a long-sleeved, metallic frock that looked more liberating for those crucial dance floor moments. She knows when she’s on to an accessories win, however, and kept hold of her Charlotte Olympia take-away clutch. We spotted her sharing secrets with Daisy Lowe (who looked amazing in Antonio Berardi), and Pixie Geldof in her multi-hued House of Holland dress.
What else? Well, Kendall was practically joined at the hip with Cara D (except when the latter was catching up with fellow Brit supermodel Jourdan Dunn, that is), and the two left together to presumably set off for Salzburg, where they’ll both walk in the Chanel Metiers D’Art show later today (eek!). Cara had swapped her Burberry gown for a sequinned slip by Tom Ford, who was also the designer of Joan Smalls’ barely-there frock.
Kate Moss and Naomi were both in Alexander McQueen, and were having a major love in with Edward Enninful for most of the shindig. And, of course, Rihanna was mingling like a pro having changed out of her Stella McCartney tux jacket into a Jenny Packham embellished slip. Phew! Exhausted yet? We know we are. And no doubt the entirety of the fash pack are too, after the frivolities of the evening.
So sit back, relax and peruse the most A-list packed party we’ve witnessed in a long while. And then get ready for today’s huge happenings- as well as Chanel, we’re gearing up for the Victoria’s Secret show later this evening. Fashion events, hey? It’s like waiting for a bus…
