Yesterday marked the first full day of spring which means summer is officially on the horizon. Hooray! While the weather might not exactly be warm we reckon this means it’s definitely time to start planning your summer wardrobe.
When it comes to updating our outfit options for the sunnier months there is one high street shop we can’t get enough of. Yep, we’re talking about Primark. Their summer offering is always top notch, and this season is no different.
We got a sneak peek of their high summer collection at their recent press day, and we’ve already starting making our wish list. The clothes, shoes, accessories on offer have got us seriously dreaming of sun, sea and sangria – now all we need to do is book a holiday!
Here are our top 6 buys from Primark’s #sunrisetosunset collection…
The Embroidered Kaftan
Tapping into this season’s boho trend this colourful kaftan looks seriously expensive. Featuring pretty embroidery and lace detailing this beauty will be perfect for throwing over a bikini for post-beach cocktails. There’s no need to wait till holiday to give it an outing though – wear now with jeans and mules.

The Instagrammable Sunhat
Any blogger worth her salt was sporting the Reformation ‘Out Of Office’ sunhat last summer. Thanks to our genius friends at Primark you can get one for a snip of the price.

The ‘It’ Bikini
Kini’s crochet bikinis were all over our Insta-feed last summer and Primark’s take on this cult swimwear item is an essential for any upcoming beach holidays. We’ve got our eye on the bright pink and purple one.
Top £8 and Bottoms £5. In store 5th June.
The Perfect Festival Bag
Primark’s new cross-body bags look way too good to be high-street. Folky and fringed they will up the style ante on any outfit, and are a must-have for festival season. We’ll take all three.

Black and white bag – £9. In store April 4th.
Black bag – £18. In store now.
The Pom-Pom Beach Bag
There’s not much that makes us happier than a pom-pom. A key trend for SS16, we totally fell for this pom-pom trimmed basket. Whether your at the beach or at the park this will be ideal for stashing all your essentials. The pineapple print espadrilles are equalling pleasing on the eye.
Beach bag – £9. In store 2nd May.
The Retro Shirt
Believe it or not this super cute shirt is actually from Primark’s menswear collection. The vintage-style shirt features colourful summer motifs and will look just as good on holiday as it will with a pair of straight leg jeans back home.
All of these lust-worthy new Primark pieces land in store at the end of March, and just like all of Primark’s collections you can expect some bargain prices!
