The Girls Steal The Show On The Prada Menswear Catwalk

Miuccia Prada chose to showcase the women’s resort collection alongside the men’s spring collection during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan yesterday.

What does this mean? Well, it’s time for you to get far more excited than you usually would about a menswear show. The female models looked amazing in fun, printed pinafores and rabbit-adorned knits, totally stealing the show from the boys.

Get ready to want every single piece of the collection because we have added pretty much all of it to our ever-growing lust list.

The amazing pinafores were super mini, giving us seriously ’60s vibes while making one heck of a statement walking down that catwalk. It was all rabbit, car and eye prints covering the mega-patterned outfits which were worked together in a total mash up of stripes, snakeskin and graphic cartoons.

How to get in on the style yourself? Well, Prada paired long ankle socks with cute kitten heels giving a seriously fashion-forward look you can create all for yourself, if you dare. Alternatively, you’ll have to wait for the high street to get in on the arrow printed sandals and amazing glossy macs! Hurry please!

As for the boys, they were also treated to a dose of the printed knit, with bunny rabbits and rockets storming down the catwalk. Hemlines were mini for them too, with short shorts the order of the day paired with amazing matching blazers.

We have a feeling we’re going to be seeing plenty of our favourite celebs donning these frocks before we know it and finger’s crossed the high street jumps aboard some of these amazing trends too. If this resort collection is anything to go by, the next season is going to be all about contrast-printed layering with a serious injection of fun!

Don’t forget to head to TheFashionDrop for everything amazing that’s dropping on the high street today! It might not be Prada, but there are some seriously amazing finds in there to get you through the summer in style.
