So there’s only one topic of conversation in the LOOK office today, and that’s all the antics from last night’s BRIT Awards. From awkward presenters (we’re looking at you, Ellie Goulding and Lewis Hamilton) to Kim Kardashian’s jumpsuit, the evening didn’t fail to provide some stellar celeb talking points, and now we’re bringing you our top five. We won’t lie, it was all a bit awkward…
First up is this super awkies selfie moment, courtesy of Kim K (obv). As she took to the stage to present an award, Ant & Dec tried to make Kim take a photo of them, but she missed the joke entirely and went straight in for a selfie. After striking a pose, she realised that the phone was locked, and the camera hadn’t worked. Oops…
The A-listers reaction to Kanye’s controversial performance was priceless. Lionel Richie looked aghast and Taylor Swift gawped at the stage. She quickly decided she wasn’t that shocked, though, and proceeded to bump ‘n’ grind next to Kim. Meanwhile, Kanye was still running around a flame-thrower on stage. The whole scene was nightmarish.
Even Cara Delevingne managed to crack some awkward jokes as she presented an award. We’ll forgive her though, because we’re pretty obsessed with her appearance in general. Her turn on the red carpet in a skinny jeans/fedora combo was seriously badass, and she managed to cram in two other outfit changes. That’s our girl.
Fast becoming our favourite celebrity couple, Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs hit the Warner Music Group after-party where they were spotted laughing together and just generally looking ADORABLE. This is the first time we’ve seen them at an event together, and now we’re a bit obsessed with their love. We know that’s weird, but look how cute they are. And she was wearing the most incredible Alexander McQueen outfit, and looked amazing.
Although we know you’ve probably enjoyed our favourite moments so far, we know that all you really want to do is look at this GIF of Madonna’s epic stage fall. We’re obviously relieved that the icon wasn’t hurt, and we’d like to applaud her professionalism. The woman just got up and carried on! So we’re using this as our inspiration for the day. If somebody tries to whip off your cape and instead sends you tumbling down a small flight of stairs, just #doaMadonna and get right back up and carry on. What a boss.
