Why Taylor Swift Doesn’t Call Calvin Harris ‘Calvin’

We have something ridiculous to tell you – Taylor Swift doesn’t call Calvin Harris ‘Calvin.’

Yep, in a new interview with a New Zealand radio station Taylor’s BFF Selena Gomez just dropped a total bombshell about her pal’s new man.

Revealing that Calvin is actually NOT CALLED CALVIN AT ALL, Selena was at the time talking about her ex-lover Zedd, who’s real name is Anton.

‘I made this a deal [with him]. I said it to Calvin Harris too. I was like, “Look, you guys have two names. It really is frustrating. I need to know which name I should call you because I don’t know what is what. So I speak with the real names. Adam and Anton.’

The radio hosts were obviously left open-mouthed (like us) that Calvin Harris wasn’t the DJ’s real name, asking Selena if they call him ‘Adam Harris.’

‘No, I don’t think that’s his last name!’ Selena said. ‘I don’t know his last name.’

> Selena Gomez spilled all about the Scottish DJ’s real name… And we’re flabbergasted!

Fans have also said that there’s a video from the BBMA’s where Swifty is looking for him and asks her assisitant, “where’s Adam?”‘ So basically, Taylor calls her boyfriend by a totally different name than we thought. MINDS BLOWN.

In other news, the Style singer kicked off the UK leg of her tour in Glasgow last week, and once on stage, she gave her first ever shout-out to boyfriend Calvin Harris. Aw!

After performing Blank Space, the 25-year-old singer told the entire crowd: ‘This is my first time playing in Glasgow and you sold this place out in seconds. I happen to love Scottish people, personally.’ Oh, we KNOW who you’re talking about, Swifty… Love? We knew it!

The singer also revealed to the 12,000-strong crowd that her and Calvin actually have more in common than people might think. Revealing that her dad sent her an email ahead of the show, she said: ‘In the subject line it said ‘Tell Scotland this’ and in the email he said our whole family is from Scotland and you have to tell them that.’

Matching heritages? This will surely mean that Mr Swift and Mr Harris will get on like a house on fire! We predict a hot future for these two.

And while Taylor is currently totally nailing her pop star career, there’s another area of her life she’s been thinking a lot about – starting a family.

It’s no secret that her and DJ boyfriend are two of the most loved up celebrities in showbiz right now, after romance blossomed for the duo earlier this year.

And in a new interview with ITV News, the Blank Space singer has spoken about what she hopes the future might hold…

According to E News, when Taylor was asked where she sees herself in ten years, Swifty replied that she hopes to have a family by then. (Mr and Mrs Harris?!) But, she added, she’d be worried about protecting her children due to her meteoric status as a one of the world’s most famous women.

The 25-year-old cutely added that she’s in awe of one starry mum in particular – Angelina Jolie – who has successfully raised a brood under the glare of the public eye.

‘Her life not just for the purpose of making money or coming up with the most lucrative business deals,’ Taylor added. but for what she can give back. We’d say that was a pretty good role model right there.

Swifty also had a thing or two to say about social media, too. Having racked up an incredible 52.9 million Twitter followers and 71 million Facebook likes, Taylor’s pretty much social media queen. But she says Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat should come with a warning…

‘You have teenagers who are attaching their self worth to how many likes they get on a picture they just posted,’ she said. ‘I don’t necessarily think that’s a healthy way to see yourself.’

> Taylor Swift advises fans not to base their happiness on how many FB likes a photo gets

‘I want to always be there to tell them, that’s not the most important – whether this picture got 50 likes and that picture got ten, please don’t base your day and your happiness and your sanity on that.’

Oh, she’s a wise one.
