Taylor Swift’s Girl Squad Just Got Mocked On US TV

Who DOESN’T want to be in Taylor Swift‘s girl squad right now?

The 25-year-old’s friendship group boasts VIPs such as Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Ellie Goulding, Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez.

She’s brought a selection of her A-list pals onto the stage at pretty much all of her 1989 tour dates and her infamous Bad Blood video was jam-packed with famous ladies.

But now American comedy show Saturday Night Live has poked fun at Taylor’s gang – and we’re not sure she’ll be too impressed.

Miley Cyrus was hosting the episode, although she didn’t appear in the skit about T-Swizzle and her pals.

In the sketch, SNL‘s Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant play high school friends who end up in a car crash.

When they wake up after the accident, they discover that the whole world has joined Taylor’s squad. Um. YES PLEASE.

But unfortunately for Swifty, her crew wasn’t exactly portrayed in the most flattering of lights.

Hilariously, Vanessa and Aidy’s awakening in hospital is reminiscent of the opening scene of zombie drama The Walking Dead.

The pair watch a TV news segment, which announces: ‘In 2015, Taylor Swift created her squad. By the end of her tour, the entire world had joined.’

The police and fire service have all become Swifties, leaving the world deserted. Lolz.

While this was all in good humour, it’s not the first time that Miley’s been associated with some minor Taylor-related shade-throwing.

The singer, 22, recently told The New York Times: ‘I’m not trying to be in the squad.

‘None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives, because I’m inspired by them.’
