Taylor Swift was the opening performer at the 2015 BRITs last night, so it was a no-brainer that she needed to make one hell of an impression when she arrived.
Luckily, the Blank Space singer delivered in spades when she turned up to London’s O2 arena working a sleeveless black Roberto Cavalli Atelier gown featuring a red dragon embroidered all the way down the back.
We love the contrast of demure, high neck front compared with the sheer embroidered back and dramatic train. Way to make an impact.
The 25-year-old teamed her eye-catching oriental-style frock with straight, shiny locks and a stunning fire engine red lip.
For her stage ensemble, Taylor slipped into a tiny black short suit and fishnet tights, where she got the party started with a high-energy performance of her latest hit single.
And it was a celebratory night all round for the US star, as she scooped the Best International Female Solo Artist gong before partying with her best showbiz pals Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne and Ellie Goulding.
Luckily, Swity’s night at the BRITs wasn’t as dramatic as her and Ed Sheeran’s recent experience at Mark Ronson’s post-Grammys party.
Ed revealed: ‘We ended up at a party in Mark Ronson’s room and then the police shut it down.’ Taylor continued: ‘That made us feel so cool. And then we had to hide in a bathroom.’
‘There was like 40 of us’, she added. ‘I grabbed Ed and I was like, “Cops are here, come with me!” I never thought I’d be the one saying that. A lot of weird things happened that night.’
Pop’s most well-behaved duo, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, hiding from the police?! We never thought we’d see the day.
