Taylor Proves Once And For All That The Choker Is Back

We’re calling it: the choker is this season’s coolest accessory. The latest in a long line of 90s trends to make a come back, chokers have been spotted on the necks of street stylers, bloggers and a whole host of celebrities.

The most recent celeb to rock this throwback trend is Taylor Swift.

Out for dinner in LA with two members of her squad – Lily Aldrige and Behati Prinsloo – Taylor was papped sporting a chic all-black ensemble.

Taylor gave her elegant get-up a grungey twist with the addition of a simple black string choker adorned with a tiny pendant.

The singer isn’t the only one to sport this look. Taylor’s dinner party companion Behati Prinsloo is a big fan of the choker, and has been spotted wearing one of multiple occasions. We love Behati’s simple black string choker – wear alone for a subtle nod to the trend, or layer up with other necklaces for a more statement look.

Hailey Baldwin shows us how a simple choker can add some serious cool points to the most basic of outfits.

Chokers can be worn for any occasion. Take your cue from Rihanna and layer up a choker, pearls and gold costume jewellery to give your evening outfit some edge.
