Suki Waterhouse’s Sis Just Landed A Huge Film Role

UPDATE 23/9/15: Having bagged a campaign with Helmer Handbags (see below) and being signed by Next Model Management, Suki Waterhouse’s little sis Immy is already making a name for herself in the fashion world, but now it looks like she’s turning her hand to acting.

At the LOVE & Miu Miu party in London last night, Immy told ELLE: “I’m moving to Los Angeles soon, because I’ve gotten a small role in Tom Ford’s next film, Nocturnal Animals.” How exciting!

She added: “I’ve never met him, but I loved his last movie. It was so beautiful and so well done. I auditioned through video tape so I’ve actually not met him yet. Should I be nervous? My friend Georgia (May Jagger) worked with him on a fragrance campaign and she said he was super nice.”

In fact, Immy said Tom’s biggest worry was her American accent, and there was one place in particular she managed to pick it up and land the gig. “From Friends,” she said, “If you listen to any British actor, even the really big ones, when they’re playing American people, they probably sound like Rachel or Monica. Friends is so huge over here that we just watch it all the time.”

Either way, we’re sure she will make for one hell of an addition to the cast. Let the countdown begin!

We first brought you news of our latest arm candy crush last summer, as we spotted Helmer handbags on just about every celeb in town. From Millie Mac to Amber le Bon, all of our favourite fashion gals have invested in these beauties, which are the brainchild of Shevanne Helmer and her daughters, Danielle and Michelle. With everything from bucket bags to box clutches, the Helmer ladies take their inspo from Bali, where the bags are made. And now, the brand has just recruited its new face, and you’ll never guess who it is!

Yup, Suki’s sis, Immy Waterhouse, has just scored her very own fashion campaign. Showing off the Shevy clutch, a brand new style, Immy gets her ’70s on in these amazing, retro shots which were styled by Lucy Greene. With her hair in disco curls, Immy looks remarkably like her big sis as she models the snakey bags with aplomb. The envelope bags come in a variety of different colourways and are all priced at £400- definitely an investment, but one we reckon is worth making if you’re in the market for a designer bag. These pieces are crafted with the most luxe materials around, and will also last forever.

If you fancy a piece of the Helmer action but don’t want to make such a splurge, other styles are available from around £100 for a more purse-friendly treat. Either way, it’s safe to say that Immy is well on her way to becoming the hottest new model face on the block, ready to rival Suki. She also recently walked the catwalk at London Fashion Week, so we can’t wait to see what’s next for the mini Waterhouse. Whatever happens, just remember you heard it here first…
