Street Style: The New Way To Wear Your Denim Shirt

You know that feeling when you get dressed in the morning and feel like there’s something lacking? Well, with the help of our LOOK What I’m Wearing ladies, we think we might have cracked it. And now we want to cure you of your dressing disappointments, too.

The secret, it seems, lies in your trusty denim shirt, and a strong dose of ’90s sass. Yep, tying your shirt around your waist is still a thing. And here at LOOK HQ, we like it. A lot. As does Abbie, who styled up some thrifty treasures in a vintage dress, Ebay slides and charity shop rescued shirt. We also couldn’t help but notice that she’s wearing not one, but two scrunchies. Together. We’re obsessed.

If we were in any doubt about the staying power of this trend, we then clocked Frances in her Breton perfection, with a Warehouse denim jacket slung about her waist. Both ladies prove that the basis of your outfit is key. T-shirt dresses are ideal, as simple silhouettes will prevent your look from becoming too bulky. Paired with bare legs and sandals, this is summer dressing at its finest.

Just remember to stay on the good side of the 90s…
