Street Style: Say It With A Slogan Tee

Street Stylers have been sporting their slogan tees loud and proud in recent weeks, proving that the fashionable set has something to say. From Dior’s musings to Chris Kane’s floral typography and Ashish’s Coca Cola collab, the SS14 catwalks were expressive to say the least. And who can forget

Our very own street-style superstars have been rocking their logo tees (obvs), showing us how to incorporate the wordy trend into our daily wardrobes. A statement tee lends itself perfectly to denim, as these two stylish sorts prove. D-Superstar Irena lives up to her impossibly glamorous name with her ‘Vogue’ white tee, distressed Primark jeans and glitzy Zara courts. Her statement necklace and H! By Henry Holland lips clutch up the ante, while a red lip/nail combo never fails to win us over. We also loved Paul Holmes’ Primark tee with an Urban Outfitters denim jacket slung casually around her waist. And those Margiela kicks are to die for!

The trick is to stick to your word – let your tee do the talking and keep the rest of your outfit simple and unfussy. And don’t forget to watch what you say! Uniqlo’s Ashish-inspired ‘Coke’ tee and Simply Be’s fash-tastic top will help you nail the look.
