Steal Kate Hudson’s Summer Style

Kate Hudson is a consistent source of fash-spo both off and on duty, and this season has been no exception. Despite juggling her mummy-wife duties, acting jobs and co-fashion designing (we’re loving her Fabletics range), Miss Hudson has somehow found the time to repeatedly nail summer style over the last few months. So for those with not a spare moment in the day (and less impressive multi-tasking skills than Kate), we’ve rounded up a few of her best looks and recreated them on the high street just for you. Aw, aren’t we good?

Topshop shirt, £30

New Look, £3.99

River Island shorts, £30

ASOS boots, £135

First up, Hudson’s denim hotpant shirt combo looks every inch the Daisy Duke, and is the perfect go-to outfit as the weather warms up. For the piece de resistance, don’t forget to team with a pair of snakeskin cowboy boots – this ASOS find is an almost exact replica of Kate’s! What’s more, the leather boots and sunglasses mean that you will be prepared for all turns the British weather may take – let’s be honest, you can never be too sure.

M&S dress, £59

Debenhams wedges, £24

Next up, we love Kate’s cutesy pink number for the more formal of occasions. The clash of prints on her dress and wedges also tick off a major trend – kudos Kate! Plus, we’re loving the matching sunglasses and dress. If there’s one thing to take from this girly get-up, it’s that bright colours are definitely the way forward.

Last but not least, another hotpant pairing. The classic black cami and tortoiseshell sunnies gives this look the ultimate versatility for all summer occasions. From the beach to a caj shopping trip, this look is an all round winner. And when the weather turns chilly, we’ll be teaming ours with a black biker jacket.

Missguided top, £15

River Island shorts, £30

ASOS necklace, £6

ASOS sunglasses, £25

All in all, we’ve got Kate to thank for some hot-to-trot summer style-spo and of course, the trusty high street for pulling out all the stops to bring us affordable, chic copies. Happy shopping!
