Sofia Richie Only Buys Jeans At This High Street Shop

As the daughter of music legend Lionel Richie and sister to fashion mogul Nicole Richie, 16-year-old Sofia Richie was destined for a life in the limelight. And, with that, you’d expect a wardrobe consisting solely of only the hottest designer pieces, right? Well, you were wrong. In an interview with The Coveteur, Miss Richie confessed her love for high street giant Topshop stating that she only feels good in their jeans. Snap! She added: “They’re to die”.

Now, if the sartorial preferences of her sister are anything to go by (gowns and stilettos only, please), spotting Sofia in jeans will be pretty hard and fast coming – but we will certainly be on the lookout.

Having landed a cover with ASOS magazine and as the face of Madonna’s Material Girl AW15 campaign, we’re also keen to check how the budding fashionista will style her jeans. And, of course, we’re dying to see which famous jean type Sofia has recruited as her denim saviour. Until we’re put out of our misery, we’ve decided to familiarise ourselves with the potential..

First up, the Jamie. The ultimate classic, this ankle-grazing jean is skinny enough to show your curves, but not so skinny it’s near impossible to sit down. (Come on, we’ve all been there). Plus, they come in almost every wash you can think of.

Next, the Baxter. If you’re after laid-back cool then the Baxter is just the ticket. They’re pretty similar to the Jamie but with a more generous fit.

On the other end of the spectrum are the Mom and Hayden jeans. Featuring a retro high-waist and roll-up hem, the Mom jeans are every inch the epitome of 90’s cool, while the Hayden’s distressed finish makes for a more relaxed look.

Last but not least, the Joni. These trews create the ultimate spray-on effect with an ultra skinny fit and high-waist. And if you’re not a fan of the high-waist, opt for the Leigh jean – complete with super-skinny (but soft) cut and mid-rise waist.

In short, there really is something for everyone. Which type is your go-to?!
