The hottest spring/summer ad campaigns were announced while we were all scoffing our Christmas pudding. So we’re here to update you on what you missed during your festive break…
Gemma Ward made a stellar return to Prada, Versace plumped for iconic songstress Madonna and the ultimate Brazillian supermodel fronted yet another Chanel campaign.
Yes that’s right, Gisele is the face of Chanel’s latest campaign, showing her long legs off at all the hottest spots in Paris. After appearing in Baz Luhrmann’s highly anticipated Chanel No. 5 film just before Christmas, Gisele has returned in supreme style for the unstoppable brand.
Shot in black and white across the most glamorous sites in the French city, Gisele models the latest collection, including those feminist-inspired tweed suits and a pinstripe number on the lovelock bridge. In one image, she holds a knitted jumper on a stick to mimic a flag – highlighting that protest edge the shows had back in September.
Also bringing a taste of what we saw in its Spring/Summer 2015 show was Prada. What we saw in September was a return from Gemma Ward and that’s exactly what we see in the campaign too. After a six-year hiatus from the brand, Gemma is back and better than ever modelling a strapless brocade dress from the new collection.
For Versace’s latest ad campaign, they turned to none other than pop superstar Madonna. The singer replaces Lady Gaga as the brand’s face.
Also, in case you missed it. Jourdan Dunn landed her first solo cover of British Vogue, which marked the first issue in twelve years that a black model alone has covered the magazine.
What a brilliant and stylish start to the year!
