Besides outfit inspo, there’s something else we can take from celebrities: holiday packing tips. They’re almost always on the go, but packing just doesn’t seem to phase them.
Take Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She flits between LA and London so often we can hardly keep up, and yet her sense of style shows no sign of suffering. Well, apparently it’s all down to one tactic…
“Recently, I’ve challenged myself – because I come back and forth from LA so frequently – to pack less,” she told Vogue. “The last few times I’ve thought, ‘Ok, this is crazy, I pack so much, I don’t wear any of it, I need to get more organised.’ So I said to myself, ‘I’m only going to pack four colours: navy blue, white, grey and black.’ The same with shoes, the same with accessories, the same with all my clothes.”
GAME-CHANGING. Rosie explains that this way, she can mix and match various pieces to create different outfits.
“It was amazing because basically it meant that everything worked together,” she said. “The white shirt worked with the black jeans; and then the black jeans worked with the grey sweater; and the grey sweater worked with the white pants, so everything was interchangeable and versatile – like taking a uniform as opposed to just lots of different things.”
Erm, why hadn’t we thought of this before?!
