Another week has gone by in the X Factor fash’ stakes, between judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Rita Ora.
With both of this year’s leading ladies sporting dramatic gowns for Saturday night’s live show, Cheryl opted for a stunning floor-sweeper by her favourite Parisian designer Stephane Rolland.
The frock had bold mesh cut-out detailing around her bust, with her daring to bare her back.
The Geordie princess wore her brunette locks in a volumised updo.
Rita, in contrast, left her long blonde locks down, and entered the X Factor stage in a Jean Paul Gaultier SS15 design.
Alongside her fashion moment, Rita took the time to shout out her acts, with the caption: ‘Tonight was special. Thank you Girls for being the stars that you are. Dress by @jpgaultierofficial’.
It was Rita’s Sunday night sartorial choice that really got viewers talking.
The 24-year-old strutted her stuff into the ITV studios in a racy tailored number, which showed off her long pins to perfection.
The Girls’ category mentor rocked an Acne jacket, teamed with some killer nude court shoes.
It seems that Rita wanted to keep the look just as the fashion house intended, letting the jacket speak for itself, just as they had done for their spring/summer ’16 catwalk.
The Hot Right Now singer soon sparked a huge Twitter debate surrounding her outfit, with many claiming that she seemed to have ‘forgetten’ her trousers.
One user wrote: ‘It would appear that Rita Ora has forgotten to put on her trousers #XFactor’.
Another said: Rita Ora is having one of those dreams where you forget your trousers’.
Oh, Rita. We think you rocked it.
Both Cheryl and Rita’s X Factor wardrobes have been utterly fabulous this year, don’t you agree?
