Rihanna sure is a style chameleon.
The R8 singer has perfected the art of switching up her look, but more than that, she owns it. Every. Single. Time.
Fresh from her show-stopping moment on the Met Gala red carpet, where she epitomised glamazon in an all-encompassing gold coat dress, and a train that pretty much engulfed the red carpet – and the world of internet memes, too – she’s now gone old school RiRi in a throwback inspired ensemble.
Her latest look could not be more different.
Taking some downtime with her friends whilst in New York, RiRi spent the weekend bowling up a storm. Her outfit of choice was suitably relaxed, rocking her faithful wardrobe staple.
Enter the oversized t-shirt dress.
Yup. This lady has proved that she can pretty much pull off anything.
The street style queen added her own styling twist, with a quirky beret, complete with a funky slogan on top. She teamed the look with some chunky knee high boots, showing off her incredible pins.
Rihanna accessorised with some bold gold bling, which included chandelier earrings and a statement cuff bracelet. The starlet also sported some stacked nameplate necklaces, one of them with her name on. Safe to say there’s no mistaking you in this outfit, girl.
Her beauty look was equally stand-out; with a bold ‘liner flick and smokey ‘shadow, the 27-year-old opted for a cyber purple pout.
And those long locks are back. After showing off a demure slick bob on the red carpet, it seems that Rihanna was missing the hair whip, as she’s called upon those signature red extensions. All hail RiRi and her ever-changing barnet.
This comes just hours after the songstress was spotted going into a recording studio with her rumored ex-boo, Drake, leading many fans to question whether they’re collaborating on a track (or two?) for Ri’s long-awaited eighth album.
But hold that thought. It could mean even more, as the rumour mill has been sent even further into overdrive by a video, posted by TMZ, which shows the pair partying together in a New York nightclub, and sharing a hug.
Is this the start of a Drake/Rihanna reunion?
Watch this space. And watch out for the Drake memes. Because, you know, internet…
