Rihanna pulled out all the stops at last night’s CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City, arriving to collect her award in a barely there custom-made Adam Selman gown.
With every curve of her gorgeous bod on show, the Bajan beauty worked the red carpet in her sheer Swarovski crystal-clad fishnet dress which left little (well, nothing really) to the imagination. We hear there was underwear FYI, but we certainly couldn’t see it.
Oozing old school Hollywood glamour, RiRi topped off her risqué 1920’s look with a matching hand-embellished headscarf, gloves, and a pink fur stole which proved pretty helpful in the modesty-protecting stakes.
Sequins, fur, huge Paul Morelli costume jewellery earrings – Rihanna had it all going on, and what better outfit to sport when collecting an award for being the Fashion Icon of the Year, eh?
Body baring slip aside, we were also blown away by the singer’s flawless beauty look, which consisted of smokey, bronzed eyes, glistening skin and a glossy natural nude lip.
No one makes a sartorial statement like our RiRi.
