Rihanna has just bagged the fashion role of a lifetime – as the new creative director of an entire sportswear brand.
The Bajan beauty is now the global ambassador for PUMA, and will be putting her stylish spin on the label’s womenswear collections from January.
Revealing her hugely exciting project on Instagram, RiRi posted a snap of her working all-white-err’thing in joggers, a white basque, a fur-trim white coat and black and white Puma creepers (LOVE), alll topped off with layered pearl necklaces, a deep red lip and a side-swept updo.
‘Nothing is impossible with God! Very grateful for this opportunity #puma’, Rihanna captioned the snap as she posed in front of the brand’s famous logo.
Adam Petrick, Global Brand & Marketing Director for PUMA said: ‘Rihanna brings joy to audiences around the world but also ignites and awes. PUMA admires her for never waiting for the next big thing, but more so for driving what happens next – in fashion, style, music and soon to be – sports.
‘We can’t wait to empower women worldwide with Rihanna – she demonstrates a body confidence and determination that is the exact representation of the PUMA Woman.’
Clearly excited about her new venture, the singer then shared a series of snaps of her at PUMA HQ, signing her multi-year contract and writing on the brand’s office walls.
‘The face you make when you the Creative Director of a sportswear company #PUMA’, she captioned another sassy snap.
She’s long been one of our favourite sports luxe street stylers, so we can’t WAIT to see what Badgalriri comes up with…
