So. We aren’t the only ones who are crushing on Kendall Jenner. In fact, she’s been receiving praise from some very high places.
Kendall, 19, was announced as the face of Karl Lagerfeld’s eyewear range earlier this year and a new behind the scenes video reveals just how much the designer rates her.
‘[Kendall is] great and modern, and the girl of the moment,’ he says in the short film.
But Kendall isn’t the only person who Karl has been wowed by. She stars alongside French model Baptiste Giabiconi in the campaign, who Karl, 81, describes as being ‘like a son’ to him.
The black and white clip shows Kendall with quite a makeover – she’s sporting a convincing faux fringe as she’s shot with Baptiste, 25.
How ah-mazing does she look?
It may only be May, but 2015 has already been a highly successful year for Kendall. After revealing a video campaign for Estee Lauder and an American Vogue fashion spread in January, shots of her modelling in Karl Lagerfeld’s ‘Karl Is Kolor’ spring 2015 accessory campaign began storming cyberspace. Talk about a fashion dream team!
It’s no secret that Kendall impressed Karl from the beginning – bagging gigs walking the Chanel, Chanel Haute Couture and Chanel Metiers d’art shows in her first year of modelling – so we’re not surprised he’s snapped up her up for an ad campaign. Kendall stars alongside Sasha Luss and Ming Xi in the shots, which show off the amazing accessories in pops of bright colour.
That’s Vogue, Estee Lauder, Karl Lagerfeld and British GQ’s “Coolest Woman” award under her belt and it’s not even halfway through the year. Watch out – Kendall’s coming for you.
