If the thought of a poofy princess dress makes your skin crawl – then we have something for you.
Beloved eco-friendly brand Reformation launches its fall wedding dress collection today, and it’s a breath of fresh air. Whether you’re knee deep in wedding planning or strictly single, this collection is a feast for the eyes. From floaty long sleeved numbers and mini camis to off-the-shoulder gowns and stylish seperates – there’s something to suit everyone’s personal taste.
Coined ‘The Dress Made You Do It’, this collection is all about falling in love – with a dress. As Reformation tells us: “We don’t recommend getting married just because you’ve fallen in love with the perfect wedding dress. But who are we to judge? If you are in the market to get hitched, maybe you should just pop the question yourself.”
Alongside the more traditional white gowns the collection includes a range of coloured dresses that make excellent bridesmaid material, or even work well for wedding guests – think pastel hues, gem tones and floral prints.
These alternative bridal gowns are also what Reformation are dubbing ‘second wedding dresses’. Because if you can’t wear two dresses on your wedding day, when can you? The trend for two wedding dresses is booming with more and more brides choosing to have one dress for the ceremony and a second one for the party.
As always with Reformation, each dress is produced responsibly, using sustainable fabrics and creating less environmental impact – not that you needed more convincing.
These are some of our favourites…
