Supermarket chic just got even more sophisticated. Why? Because Barbara Hulanicki, the woman who founded Biba and championed the swinging ’60s nostalgia, has designed a new label for George at Asda. Eek!
Picture vintage prints, a neutral colour palette and pretty frocks by the bucket-load, and you’ll have some idea what the new line includes. It’s clearly influenced by Biba designs as well, and is perfect for the fashionista on a shoestring. With prices between £8 and £18, it’s perfect for a pre-autumn spend. We’ve got our eye on a few pieces before the month is out.
Check out George.com now for your slice of Carnaby Street-esque style. See you at the (virtual) checkout.
