She may only be 9 months old, but Princess Charlotte is already proving to be a huge influence on the fashion industry. Marc Jacobs has named a lipstick shade after the mini royal, who will celebrate her first birthday on May 2nd.
Part of the new Le Marc lip crème collection, ‘Charlotte’ is a deep pink shade exclusive to Harrods. According to WWD, the global vice president and general manager of Marc Jacobs Beauty, Catherine Gore, said the shade was “inspired by the deepest saturated pink tones of an English rose.”
You can get your hands on the lipstick for £24 from Harrods.com. If the Duchess’s record of sparking sell-outs is anything to go by, we predict it’s only a matter of time before this lippy flies off the shelves.
Everyone should give a huge thanks to Kate Middleton and Prince William this morning, because thanks to them, the cutest pictures of Princess Charlotte are now circulating the Internet.
It’s six months since the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her gorgeous baby girl, and to mark the exciting milestone, the Palace decided to release the first official snaps of Charlotte as an infant.
The first picture shows Charlotte dressed in a pretty paisley dress with a ruffle collar, teamed with a pink cardigan and pink tights. Just look at those big blue eyes!
The second snap shows Charlotte giggling away as she plays with her cuddly toy tog. Oh, it’s just too much…
Whilst the pictures look mega professional, and had many believing they were papped by the likes of Mario Testino (who shot the official royal photo earlier this year), they were actually taken by Charlotte’s mum… Naw!
Yep, it was Kate who was behind the camera, and she chose their family home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk for the location.
Shared on the Kensington Palace Instagram account, the caption read: ‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to be able to share two new photographs of Princess Charlotte.
‘They were taken by The Duchess in early November at their home in Norfolk.
‘The Duke and Duchess continue to receive warm messages about Princess Charlotte from all around the world and they hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do.’
Oh, we did. We did indeed.
