She may have been absent from the FROWs at both London and Milan Fashion Week, but Olivia Palermo made a winning comeback in Paris over the last few days. There were so many shows to see that we basically witnessed a sartorial parade of all things chic straight from Olivia’s rails, and we loved every single look.
Skipping around Paris with husband Johannes Huebl in tow, Olivia kicked off her Parisian catwalk tour with a busy day of shows, flitting from Roland Mouret to Barbara Bui and Carven, all the while decked out in a navy wool jersey-knit Dior dress. She accessorised with a furry Fendi scarf and some of her own creations, too. Olivia’s sunnies were in fact a piece from her collaboration with WestwardLeaning, while her booties are part of her Aquazzura range.
Come to mention it, those boots have been firmly on Olivia’s feet for most of the weekend, as she also wore them to the Elie Saab show with her Tommy Hilfiger jeans and striped shirt, which she teamed with an Elie Saab statement coat and ladylike handbag.
What else is top of Olivia’s PFW style kit? Well, certainly her flared jeans, of which she has worn several different pairs already. She even rocked her denim to the Dior show, rocking them with a Christian Dior vest and bag, and some casual daytime sequins. Livvy switched up her XXL silhouette for some cropped boyfriend jeans at the Chloe show, rocking a blouse from the brand as well as its iconic ‘Drew’ bag, topping it all off with a sunny yellow cover-up.
And, if that lot isn’t enough for you, Olivia even managed to squeeze in some pencil skirts. She chose a fringed leather Tibi skirt for the Chalayan show, which she rocked with a beige knit and grey court shoes, before changing into a high-waisted, asymmetric skirt and black jumper to attend the Jeanne Lanvin retrospective.
We don’t know about you but we’re exhausted. And, more than anything, we feel compelled to applaud Olivia’s packing skills- how did she fit all that lot into her suitcase? With some big shows- including Chanel- to come, there’s no doubt this style maven has a few tricks up her sleeve. And we can’t wait to see them…
