Olivia Palermo and LeeLee Sobieski joined the style elite for one of the most anticipated shows of the Paris Fashion Week – Christian Dior. Chic, chic and more chic is the keyword when it comes to dressing for the iconic French fashion house’s show, and Olivia and LeeLee got it spot on.
may have played it safe in black, but her look had plenty of high fashion touches thanks to a leather detail peplum jacket and fluffy chain handle bag. LeeLee
meanwhile, looked like she’d stepped straight out of the pages of a 50s fashion magazine, sporting Dior’s classic New Look aesthetic in a tomato red fit and flare coat, her waist accentuated with a glossy gold belt and finished off with dainty dove grey pointed slingbacks. Are we sure these two aren’t Parisian?
As for the show, the fashion pack had high expectations for designer Raf Simons, who presented his first ready-to-wear collection for Dior after making his debut with last season’s Haute Couture line. A-line skirts and tailoring were classic Dior, but Simons’ minimalist lines and iridescent, organza fabrics gave the label a thoroughly modern spin. GG
