My LOOK My Week: Victoria Adegboyega

Hey friends and fashion lovers! Welcome to my looks of the week. I’m the street style and fashion obsessed Senior Picture Researcher for LOOK. I’m a recovering shopping addict with a slight addiction to bargain hunting and all things style and beauty-related. You will usually find me rocking a bold lippy or trying to make every outfit work with a rather excessive collection of Nike trainers… I am currently on a self imposed trainer ban. When it comes to my personal style, I like to try it all, with my biggest style inspirations being Jenna Lyons and Solange Knowles – I love their eclectic looks and how they aren’t afraid to work daring and unlikely fashion combinations. Being a tall and curvy girl, dressing for my shape can be quite tricky, but I’m a firm believer that fashion is for every body type. So if you’re like me and won’t pass on a cool trend or two but enjoy putting your own twists on a look, then stay tuned….

1. Go head to toe berry tones

>

Like most people, I like to start off the week with a power look. Mondays are always busy so why not put on something that makes you look good and feel great?  I nabbed this coat in the Mango sale, I love it because if you have long arms like me it can be tricky getting coats to fit, so the mid-length sleeves work a charm.

I’m really into berry tones this season, so went for a head-to-toe berry mash-up with a few metallic accents by way of accessories. Because it’s still chilly, I decided to layer my coat over my Zara sleeveless jacket, which makes getting on the Tube at the end of the day less stuffy.

2. Taking it sporty and chic

>

I’m obsessed with my Nike trainers, so I teamed them with this cosy maxi jumper dress from Primark. It’s snug and warm and flatters my curves, and with a quick shoe change I can go from desk to drinks in a flash.

>

I love my Helen Moore faux fur scarf, too – it works really well as an instant outfit lifter and is super warm. I then mixed MAC Cyber and Lime Crime Velvetine lipsticks to complete this look.

3. Pom-pom’s anyone?

Zara Badge Jacket, £59.99

My love of streetwear always finds its way into most of my outfits, which is why I teamed a tough necklace and a sporty sweater with a lace Topshop skirt for this look. This Zara jacket stole my heart – I love the badge detailing and how it works to add a cool edge to my outfit. Teamed with my Topshop pompom lace ups, this makes for an easy dressed-down chic work look for me.
