Following the news that M&S has tapped Alexa Chung for a hotly anticipated collaboration comes the announcement of another high fashion pair up.
M&S have enlisted the help of designer Michael Van Der Ham to create an eight piece accessory collection. Part of the ‘M&S &’ series, this is the latest in the line up of collaborations between the retailer and some of today’s most exciting designers, brands & fashion icons.
Van Der Ham’s beautiful frocks are often spotted on the red carpet and sell on Net A Porter at a four digit price point, but thanks to M&S you can get a piece of Van Der Ham for a snip of that. Yep, this collection starts at just £25 – what a bargain!
Known for his feminine shapes, unique choice of colour and intricate yet eclectic detailing – this capsule collection reflects this very aesthetic.
The collection, which includes both bags and footwear, sees a vivid colour palette of bright yellow, electric blue and slate grey.
‘Contrasting fabrications and the layering of textures have always inspired my creative; so I wanted to produce a capsule collection of accessories that was true to this aesthetic, but with a playful Spring edge,’ Van Der Ham commented.
