Singer Lorde has just proved that red carpet outfits can also make epic streetwear looks, too.
We often wonder what stars do with their custom-made frocks and separates after rocking them on the red carpet for big awards ceremonies.
And if you’re Lorde, you certainly don’t let them go to waste. Instead, you take them and style them down to create an awesome day outfit, because why not?
The 18-year-old songstress shared an Instagram snap of her working her custom cropped Narciso Rodriguez top from the Golden Globe Awards with a pair of high-waisted, loose-fitting jeans by Karen Walker.
Bright white Stan Smith trainers were added to really sporty the whole thing up, along with a beachy-tousled high ponytail. Très skater chic.
Lorde’s updated look makes a stark contrast to her awards look, in which she wore the same crop top but this time teamed with matching Narciso Rodriguez straight leg trousers and a long, collarless jacket.
Elegant diamond Neil Lane jewels were added to glitz it up, while the singer’s normally curly brown locks were slicked back into a side-partying ponytail.
Same top, two totally different looks. Lorde we salute you.
‘All into reusing parts of past award show outfits (this is my golden globes top) cause they’re CUSTOM MADE and too good to just hang up and never wear again u feel!’, she explained in her Instagram post.
Amen to that.
