Lauren Conrad has just unveiled her first ever collection of bridesmaid dresses. And we have to say, we’re pretty impressed.
The former The Hills star has put her fashion know-how to good use to come up with a prettier-than-pretty bridesmaid collection through her fashion label, Paper Crown.
From pale grey Grecian-style maxis to sexy strapless lace-covered mermaid frocks, there’s a style to suit everyone, meaning we can now all have in on Conrad’s frothy boho game.
Talking to Martha Stewart Weddings, Lauren explained: ‘In our collection, we’re only doing a few dresses that aren’t long. We’re doing full-length, a couple midi and then we have a couple to-the-knee.’
‘We didn’t really go shorter than that because it doesn’t really feel appropriate, and if that’s what you want, then you can always shorten the dress,’ she added.
As for her own bridesmaids? The bride-to-be Lauren continued: ‘I don’t think it has to be too cohesive. It’s too difficult to take a group of girls and put them in the same color and silhouette; everyone has their own style. I don’t mind if there are a few girls in the same dress, or if people are all in different ones.’
‘Understated is always best, so I think trying to go more classic is always a nice choice’, she added. ‘You don’t want anybody to stand out in a negative way.’
