Following the success of Kendall and Kylie’s SS16 clothing collection, this autumn, the range will also include handbags.
The collection, which includes 18 styles, will be stocked in a number of retailers and prices will range between £50 and £300.
Their first foray into the world of handbag design will feature a range of styles, from clutches to top-handle bags, and also a couple of bag charms, according to WWD. Apparently some of the sister’s favourite silhouettes such as the bucket bag and the oversized clutch have made the cut.
“Our handbag collection is super modern and pairs really well with pieces from our ready-to-wear and shoe collection for fall,” said Kendall.
With her younger sister adding: “I love that we played with all different sizes, from mini to large. A good handbag is functional and easy to use, without compromising the design or overall look.”
Earlier we wrote…
When Kylie and Kendall announced the launch of their very own label last summer we could hardly contain our excitement. But amongst a slew of other fashion and beauty projects including a collaboration with Topshop and Kylie’s sell-out Lip Kit, the sisters have only so much as teased us with what’s to come from their clothing line.
Well, the wait is up – the collaborative fashion line is here and it is just as amazing as we had expected.
“This is such an exciting time for us. We’ve grown a lot in our tastes and point of view and it feels amazing being able to express that in a more sophisticated collection,” Kendall said in a press release. “This line is a true reflection of our evolving love of fashion.”
Indeed, while the pair have previously dipped their fingers into many a high street pie, their latest venture appears a little more high-end, with stockists including ShopBop, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
There’s figure-hugging bodycons and crops from Kylie, a white lace tunic (paired with a powder blue duster that we CANNOT stop thinking about) from Kendall and even a full-skirted blue summer dress complete with broderie detailing. Co-ords are prominent too, with gingham prints and block colours to choose from.
As for accessories, you’ll be pleased to hear there’s some seriously cool lace-up stilettos, chic court shoes and studded wedges on offer. And for those who can’t quite handle the height, there’s flat sandals too.
Yep, from what we can tell, the range focuses on eveningwear, with a sprinkling of Kardashian-esque daywear in there for good measure, obvs.
The collection will be available to shop ahead of New York Fashion Week next month, but while we aren’t aware of any UK stockists thus far, we reckon it’s only a matter of time before it’ll reach our side of the pond. Watch this space.
