The pair star in Olivier Rousteing’s sizzling new campaign, that sees the designer bring together famous sisters to celebrate ‘the unique and unconditional love of siblings’.
Kendall has walked for Balmain multiple times, and with her new Balmain capsule collection for H&M coming out in November, it’s no surprise to see her face on another Balmain billboard.
But this marks Kylie’s first major high-fashion debut, and we’re pleased to announce that she totally nails it.
In the Jenner shot, Kylie is seen leaning over her 19-year-old sister as the pair lock eyes in a threatening stare, with both teens decked out in high-sparkle navy and blue Balmain designs and gold accessories.
Bold, smokey eyes and shimmering cheekbones and silky, slicked-down hair complete the girls’ beauty look, and the results are fierce.
‘When sis don’t do as I say’, Kendall wrote next to a picture of the campaign on her Instagram. Ooh, we wouldn’t want to get in the middle of these two…
The Kardashian-Jenners have a long history with the brand, and after Rousteing recently shot Kim Kardashian and Kanye West together for his SS15 campaign, the designer explained that shooting Kim’s little sisters simply felt like a natural next step.
Describing his latest photoshoot as a ‘celebration of the unique and unconditional love of siblings is a natural progression from the spirit of last season’, he said:
‘Watching them work together also made clear to me the universality of an age-old truth: the truly powerful strength, support, and love that family members can provide to one another.’
Starring alongside Kendall and Kylie are siblings Joan and Erika Smalls, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Armando and Fernando Cabral, all shot by Mario Sorrenti.
In tthe Hadid shot, Bella is seen painting on Gigi’s lipstick (as all good sisters do), whilst Joan and Erika ooze dangerous glamour with their matching smoulders.
This might just be our favourite Balmain campaign yet…
