Kurt Geiger has long been one of our shoe shopping havens on the high street, but now an army of celebrities have joined the fan club, too. This week alone, we’ve already seen Sienna Miller carrying the brand’s Saffiano London Tote bag and Elizabeth Banks was spotted rocking a pair of ruby red heels. In fact, it was only last night that we clocked Amy Adams at a Max Mara dinner showing off a gold, glittery pair of KG’s Bond court shoes, cementing this particular style as a fash pack fave.
Despite the hundreds of other KG creations we’ve admired on the likes of Taylor Swift and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, it seems that the Bond courts, with their cut-away sides and sleek heel, remain firmly at the number one spot. In an array of colour combos and prints, they’ve adorned the feet of everyone from Jada Pinkett Smith and Zoe Saldana to Emily Blunt and Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne.
The Bond isn’t the only court shoe on the hot list, either. Kurt Geiger also designs the Britton, a more classic shape seen on Kate Upton and Kate Bosworth, among others. Other than the block hues, the Britton also features mesh side panels in floral prints and lace finishes. And, if you’re after a style with a bit of a twist, the Sharkie has been seen on the feet of J-Lo and Emily Blunt (clearly a KG superfan), available in black, red or nude with textured panels.
Starting at £250, these footwear fancies are a definite investment however, as the celebs prove, you’ll wear them with absolutely everything- and forever. But if you don’t fancy splurging, then Kurt Geiger does have courts on offer from around the £49 mark, giving you a slice of A-list style on a more purse-friendly budget.
Whether you wear your courts with midi skirts, structured frocks or even jeans, you can rest assured in the knowledge that your shoes come celeb-approved. Which is a relief, we’re sure you’ll agree.
