Kristen Stewart was back to her red carpet best last night at the New York premiere of her new film, Camp X-Ray.
The Twilight actress stayed true to her vampy evening style and turned out in a patterned sheer mini dress, featuring a red and green criss-cross pattern and chic long sleeves.
K-Stew’s known for her love of a high hemline, and a pair of black pointed Christian Louboutin courts ensured her slender pins were elongated to the max as she struck a pose inside the Crosby Street Hotel.
Although K-Stew being K-Stew, they didn’t stay on for long – a journalist from The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Kristen shook her designer heels off before reaching the end of the red carpet, choosing to do her press interviews in her bare feet.
‘Just interviewed Kristen Stewart who took off her Louboutins & did the interview barefoot #cantblameher #shoeicide #campxray #moviepremiere’, she wrote on her Instagram account. And this is why we love her…
Not only were we crushing on her red carpet frock, but we’re also loving the darker hue of Kristen’s vivid red crop.
Gone is the fiery orange shade we saw at Paris Fashion Week back in July, and in its place a more natural auburn hue.
Kristen stayed true to her punky signature style by wearing it flipped over to one side, completing her look with shimmering dark blue eyeshadow and a natural glossy lip.
The 26-year-old’s dancefloor-ready mini makes quite a change from the army garb K-Stew will be seen sporting in her new flick.
The US star will be playing an army private who is made a guard at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, and has already received good reviews for her weighty performance.
