Kim Sears and Andy Murray got married on Saturday. And of course, all eyes were on that dress…
The 27-year-old opted for a Swarovski crystal-encrusted Jenny Packham gown (bespoke, of course), to tie the knot with her tennis pro fiance.
Featuring a full skirt, elbow-length beaded sleeves and an elaborate embroidered waist, the dress was more a traditional option than many people expected her to pick, with its full tulle skirt giving Kim some major princess vibes.
Take that, her thick, bouncy brunette locks and the fact that she picked Kate Middleton‘s favourite designer to create her wedding gown, and we’re seeing some serious similarities between Kim and the Duchess of Cambridge… No?
While it wasn’t a fitted bridal look, the low V back allowed the bride to flash a little bit of skin, while the glittering Jimmy Choo strappy heels finished the whole look off.
And as for her famously fabulous locks? Kim’s hair was swept back into a half-up, half-down ‘do for her big day, while a long silk tulle veil and a Swarovski crystal Kalmia floral headdress were clipped in for extra sparkle.
The happy couple exchanged vows at the 12th Century cathedral before making their way to a small reception for family members and close friends. But the weather made things a little tricky for the blushing bride…
Kim’s bridesmaids, who were clad in dusky pink dresses, had to help her up the cathedral steps whilst attempting to protect her modesty in the gusty Scottish winds by clutching her skirt and helping to hold it down. Doh. Nice work, ladies!
