Kim Kardashian is pretty much never seen in the same outfit twice – but that doesn’t stop her from re-working her favourite style formula every now and then.
The 34-year-old was looking slick in her Dior SS15 all-white look at her Selfish book launch in New York, working a skintight mesh embroidered turtleneck and a cream asymmetrical midi skirt with statement black buttons – but hang on, haven’t we seen this look somewhere before?
Kim’s designer two-piece was strikingly similar to the outfit she wore to the Alta Moda by Mario Testino photography exhibition in New York back in 2013.
For her 2015 update, the mum-of-one simply swapped her gold Tom Ford sandals for a strappy black pair and a dark plum lip for a pearly pink. Well, when Kim likes a silhouette, she sticks to it.
Another fashion favourite she slipped on again underneath were her trusty Spanx, which she has previously admitted she couldn’t live without. With outfits that fitted, we don’t blame her!
Once at the Selfish book launch, Kim (oddly) was said to have banned fans from taking any selfies at the Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue. Considering she’s promoting a whole 600-selfie-strong book full of selfies of her own face, that rule is pretty confusing.
Still, Kim was actually one of the few to stick to Anna Wintour’s ‘no selfie’ rule at the 2015 Met Gala the night before, revealing afterwards that she even left her mobile at home to avoid the temptation. Aw.
But where there’s a will there’s a way, and in the end she found another way to get her pap on at the star-studded event.
‘Everyone started to take pictures, but I didn’t even bring my phone in so I got photos from Kanye’s phone, because he was just taking pictures’, she told Extra. ‘I was like, I don’t want to get in trouble.’
The hubby always has his uses, eh Kimmy?
