Kim Kardashian has a wardrobe crammed full of designer accessories. But none are more precious than her latest birthday gift from daughter North…
The 34-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star received a hand-painted Hermes bag from her little one last month (help created by fashion-loving hubby Kanye West, obv), and couldn’t stop gushing about her sentimental pressie.
‘Kanye had a box [with an Hermes purse in it] and I opened it up and it was all painted really cool and on my computer was this message that said “Play”, and it was a video of my daughter sitting outside painting the purse’, Kim told Us Weekly.
‘I had thought it was this new artist who had painted this purse [but] it was my daughter. It was amazing.’
The one-of-a-kind tote features a brown leather handle and colourful paint splatters and most noticably, a tiny bright orange handprint. Cute.
And it finally got its first airing yesterday when Kim took it for a stroll round LA with Kanye, with the mum-of-one looking chic in a white pencil skirt and matching top and a smart grey coat.
Tweeting a picture of her and her man out with the bag, Kim wrote: ‘Me & my bae out today. Wearing my favorite bag painted by my little North.’
Hermes bags can run from £6,000 to £60,000 – we wonder where this little masterpiece would fall on the mega bucks spectrum?
Obviously, North got the gift idea from her dad. Last Christmas, the rapper gave Kim an Hermes Birkin bag that was painted by renowned artist George Condo.
We remember it well. No offence Kanye, but Nori totally wins with this one.
