We feel very sorry for Kendall Jenner today.
Just yesterday, we reported about how excited the 19-year-old was to see her first Calvin Klein Jeans billlboard ad standing proud, all six stories of it, in LA.
‘This will be my first billboard on Sunset, which I’m ecstatic about, she told V Magazine. ‘It’s really humbling, and honestly, I am a pretty shy person, but being part of the Calvin campaign and seeing myself up there will be a dream come true.’
‘I might have to eat every night at the Chateau Marmont with that hanging over my shoulder. ‘Oh yeah, that little thing? I didn’t notice!'”
But now, Kendall’s fallen victim to an unexpected attack. Because her Calvin Klein ad in New York, whch is one of the city’s BIGGEST, has been vandalized by a drone. Yep.
Splattered across the model’s gorgeous face are a series of huge red paint lines after famous graffiti artist Katsu decided to target the Keeping Up With Kardashians star’s very first billboard. Mean.
‘It turned out surprisingly well,’ Katsu proudly told Wired. ‘It’s exciting to see [the drone]’s first potential use as a device for vandalism.’
We’re not sure about that. The vandal had attached a spray can to the drone (a small remote controlled plane/helicopter) to allow him to finally target gigantic, previously impossible-to-reach billboards and spread his ‘tag’ around the city.
Explaining that it took him less than a minute and ‘was a bit tense’ Katsu added that he couldn’t believe how easy it was to graffiti in the air: ‘It’s a bit frightening.’
We don’t approve of any public vandalism, but we’re even more cross that it’s KJ that’s been targeted – especially as she recently admitted to being bullied in the modelling industry. Give the girl a break!
We hope those New York cops get their sponges out and restore Kendall to her full beauty, pronto.
