Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are two of the biggest names in modelling right now. At least when it comes to the catwalk, that is.
They shared the spotlight when they both walked for Michael Kors, along with Taylor Swift’s BFF and former Victoria’s Secret star Karlie Kloss, in New York. And their fashion week takoever has continued. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and former TV personality Gigi are two of the most worked, spanning across New York, London and now Milan.
There’s just no denying that they’re taking the fashion world by storm.
Kendall has seen some pretty big transformations – Alexander Wang grunge, anyone? – but her 2015 Milan debut came at No21’s show, where she kept it simple with her hair tied back into a no-fuss updo and natural barely-there make-up.
Next up was Fendi, which saw the brunette beauty don some very dramatic eye liner, and take on runway props in the form of a LOT of accessories. She worked it.
Ever the professional, Jenner kept it together despite rumours of backstage bullying.
That’s our girl.
As much as we’ll forever love our Kendall, Gigi probably tips the scale in the versatility department whilst in Milan.
At Max Mara she worked simple and sophisticated, rocking the designer’s signature camel coat and a pencil skirt two-piece to perfection. For a moment we thought she’d joined the A-List lob club, as her luscious locks were pulled back into a faux bob. It suited the chic, minimalist look – and her bone structure, we might add – to perfection.
Maybe she should consider going for a more permanent chop?
Next up, taking on perhaps the most opposing designer brand possible, Gigi was spotted on the Moschino catwalk. Wearing Looney Tunes couture (yup, that’s now a thing) her tumbling waves were left loose as she strolled down the runway in a stand-out prom gown.
Not happy with just two dramatically different looks, Jeremy Scott stepped in to transform this lady again into an urban streetwear ensemble – with a high fashion twist – complete with a bucket cap.
Phew. That’s a whole lotta quick changes, ladies.
We can’t wait to see what’s coming next…
