Kendall Jenner has just made her US Vogue debut rocking one of the most Marmite accessories of all time – the bumbag.
Whilst a massive hit with fashion-forward festival goers (we like ours studded and embellished, thanks), the fanny pack still has a rather unfortunate rep of being an ’80s American tourist’s dodgy coin purse of choice.
But Kendall’s put it firmly back on the high-fashion map by appearing in US Vogue‘s September Issue, (aka the publication’s biggest edition of the year), working print on print and one teeny tiny leather aubergine bumbag. Love.
Retro waist candy aside, the reality TV star looked every inch the striking supermodel-in-the-making in silky head-to-toe Alexander Wang separates, including purple dotty pyjama trousers, a printed blue collarless jacket and what’s about to be the next ‘it’ accessory of the season (trust), the silk scarf.
Kendall’s stint infront of Mario Testino’s lens comes just five months after half-sister Kim Kardashian scored her first Vogue cover with hubby Kanye West – although Kendall was deprived a cover of her own this time by top models Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls, who pipped her to the post on the supermodel-heavy Fall cover.
Next up, Kendall’s New York Fashion Week takeover. We hope she’s packed her running shoes, as we predict she’s going to be one busy lady…
