Karlie Kloss Lands MAJOR High Street Campaign

Following in the footsteps of Kendall Jenner and Lui Wen, Karlie Kloss has just been named Mango’s next SS16 campaign star. Each super has served as a poster girl for a new trend, with Karlie bagging the label’s hot ‘New Metallics’ drop.

Inspired by the 90s grunge trend the ‘New Metallics’ collection includes mini-dresses, boxy jackets and lots of denim alongside boots, trainers and a selection of heels. A mixture of elegant dresses and separates are finished with metallic detailing to give each outfits a hard edge twist, and the collection uses sequins, silver tones and shiny finishes throughout.

Launching on the 29th March we can’t wait to get our hands on this.

Kendall Jenner has just been announced as the new face of Spanish high street hotspot Mango. The 20-year-old rumoured squeeze of Harry Styles is fronting the brand’s new Tribal Spirit trend – the first of four key SS16 looks – and apparently the super is such a big fan that she’s added the collection to her personal wardrobe too.

Last week, Miss Jenner Instagrammed a snap of herself sporting the brand’s off-the-shoulder orange bardot dress – and now you can get your hands on her very own frock for just £39.99!

The announcement of Kendall’s latest high street gig – she also starred in the Balmain X H&M campaign – came just days after Mango revealed a new fast fashion strategy for 2016. Shoppers can expect more frequent, trend-led drops in store and online as well a new advertising campaign every month, featuring a trend of the moment and a face that embodies the look. Kendall is first up with Tribal Spirit, a ethnic-inspired collection of printed fabrics and luxe suede, in a colour palette of rich earthy tones. Dropping in February, the transitional pieces will work now, for festival season and beyond.

“I am delighted to have been chosen to present the Tribal Spirit part of the collection’, Kendall reveals. ‘I love wearing the designs, fabrics and shapes – they really speak of the allure of nature, which I know this collection was inspired by. The shots we created on set reflect the natural undertones of the collection while showing really beautiful, striking pieces! It was a great shoot and working with the entire Mango team was an amazing experience!”
