Kendall Jenner might be one of the most in-demand catwalk strutters of our time, but don’t think she loves everything about the world of modelling.
Yesterday, the 20-year-old slammed the one model vice she finds ‘disgusting’. And now, she’s openly admitted that she finds her industry more than a little fickle….
‘No one will ever be perfect, so it’s just stupid to put someone’s face on a magazine cover saying, “This is what you should look like,'” the 20-year-old recently told NewsCorp in Australia.
‘It’s kind of my job but it’s not real life,’ she added.
The teenager also confessed that she refuses to read any comments on her Instagram and Twitter accounts. “That’s why I don’t read my comments. I don’t read anything of that nature. If you put yourself in that position you’re not going to be happy.’
Considering she’s got over 42 million comment-happy Instagram followers to tend with, that’s got to be tough.
It also makes a start contrast to sister Kylie Jenner, who has previously admitted that online comments have massively affected her confidence.
‘I still feel insecure all the time’, the 18-year-old said. ‘I feel like it’s just a part of being a human being.’
We reckon she could learn a thing or two from Kendall.
Gigi Hadid has also been speaking out about her BFF, and about how Kendall manages to cope so brilliantly under the spotlight. Oh, and she revealed that Jenner gives the best advice.
‘She’s just really helpful, but she’s also the most low maintenance person and that’s what I really respect about her,’ the Victoria’s Secret model told Access Hollywood.
‘When you ask her a question or for advice, it’s always going to be, “Just let it happen, just let it go and, you know, be cool about it,” and that’s always her thing, just be cool and let it go.’
Ooh. We wonder if Gigi has been asking her for love advice regarding her new squeeze Zayn Malik?!
Gigi continued: ‘I think that’s the best way to go, because if you start to overthink things and always try and fix things perfectly it’s just gonna be stressful. And that’s probably what I’ve learned from Kendall the most is just to chill out a bit.’
We’re also a big fan of that mantra. We think we could ALL do with finding less time to stress and more time to chill.
