Kelly Brook‘s body is one of the most famous in the business. And it’s obvious why. She’s the original poster girl for feminine, curvaceous gorgeousness (long before Kim Kardashian came along), and now we know how she gets it…
The 35-year-old, who is now dating her personal trainer Jeremy Parisi, has been speaking to Your Fitness about how she’s turned her fitness game around for 2015.
‘I’m a curvy woman; I don’t mind having boobs and a bum and I’ll never be super-skinny, but this year I want to get fitter, healthier and become more aware of what I was putting in my body,’ she said.
‘I like to mix up my workouts, from Pilates to Barry’s Bootcamp, and go around 2-3 times a week.
‘I used to do a lot of cardio but now I prefer to do more heavy lifting with weights’, Kelly added. ‘I like the idea of being able to sculpt your body.’
And having a fitness-fanatic as a boyfriend doesn’t do any harm, either. ‘My PT in LA knows exactly how to work my body’, Kelly revealed about new man and jujutsu expert, Jeremy. ‘The next day I literally can’t walk!’
The model/presenter adds: ‘I never work out alone. I’ll have a personal trainer, exercise with a friend or go to a class.’
So what was Kelly’s main motivation for picking up her healthy eating and gym sessions in such a big way once January hit?
‘Because I’m not getting my body out every day anymore and can hide things under my clothes I became a bit lazy last year – I noticed a big difference in my weight’, she confessed. ‘So far I’ve lost 8lbs on the Atkins diet.’
The brunette beauty also admitted that her move to LA had a big impact on her health. ‘I find it easier to stay fit when I’m in LA,’ she said. ‘When the sun is shining I definitely want to exercise more!
