Katy Perry’s Barbie Moment For Jeremy Scott’s Award Win

Jeremy Scott swooped the win for Womenswear Designer Of The Year at the LA Fashion Awards last night.

And he had some of his closest friends – who just so happen to be three of the world’s biggest pop stars, we might add – along with him for support.

Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna all turned up – wearing Moschino, OBVS – to take over the front row next to the designer.

Jeremy took to Instagram to show his gratitude, emphasising: I’M SO BLESSED TO HAVE YOU THREE LADIES AS MY LOYAL FRIENDS AND BIGGEST SUPPORTERS THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT TONIGHT FOR MY AWARD AND SHOWING ME SO MUCH LOVE #HUMBLEDBYTHELOVE”

Other guests included Kayne West, Gigi Hadid, Nicole Richie and Drew Barrymore. Phew! That’s a whole lot of celeb for one roof.

But what really stood out a mile for us was Katy Perry’s seriously attention grabbing outfit. Well, can you blame us?

Why hello there, Barbie bubblegum pink three peice. The co-ord number was made up of high waisted shorts, a top and a knee length duster coat, all completed with sparkley embillishments. Of course, this was a nod to Scott’s SS15 catwalk creations, where he took the plastic icon herself as inspiration.

Taking her new chopped purple ‘do out for the first time, we were surprised by Katy’s choice of dressed-down shoes, opting for some matching pink sliders that displayed her themed nail varnish.

Sliders for winter? The fashion jury is out. Let us know your verdict.
