As if today’s Louis Vuitton AW11 fashion show wasn’t enough of a spectacle – French maids dusting the entrance and models appearing from gilded lifts opened by doormen – designer Marc Jacobs sent the front row wild when Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss joined the 67-strong parade of models.
The veteran supers showed off the fashion-meets-fetish collection – models wore latex and 18-carat gold, crystal or crocodile handcuffs, ooh la la – with Naomi Campbell in a bellboy-style hat and Kate Moss closing the show in hotpants and fierce lace-up heels. It’s Kate Moss‘ first turn on the catwalk since she retired from modelling in 2004, apart from turns for Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief show and pal Johnny Blue Eyes…does this mean she’s back in the game? We hope so. GG
